Dont really think luck came into it, more outstanding defence. Granted, Easts had the Majority of the 2nd half regards field position and posession but they couldnt quite break the Miners down.

Cracking game and the Easts lads should take a lot out of the game in that the Miners were beatable on the night and maybe they can have another crack at it at the National Cup Final.

Extremely well done to both teams and thanks for a great evenings entertainment. I bet there are some sore bodies this morning.

Hope the lads from Mners with Rib? and Ankle? problems who had to leave the field are not seriously injured.

Once again thanks to each and every one of the young lads who took the field last night.

Sounds like a great game, well done to both sets of lads.

Hopefully they'll both make the final.

It was a real treat to watch. The Rugby that was.
Only thing that spoiled it was the disrespect shown at the end by the Miners lads, it was uncalled for, and well done to our lads for not reacting to it.

Also just to say some of them lads out there have played 6 games in 10 or so days, which is hard even at their age.

Please dont start about disrespect and not reacting to it etc... and spoil a thread which has complimented both teams on display. I could say many a thing but this is not the time and the place. We should concentrate on what great entertainment we were given and not on any apparent 'disrespect' which may have been shown before/during and after the match by both sets of players.
