Taylor should've walked, no doubt about it. He could've got a straight red just for the arm into Ronaldo's head, but at the minimum he should've got a yellow. But he then went and lunged at the Manchester United player which was another yellow card offence.
I think if it was against anyone else, then he'd deserve a 3 match ban because of the whole incident. But TBH Ronaldo has got away with so much this season that there's a little bit of "what goes around comes around" and Taylor should get off with it.
But what about Ferdinand and Ferguson trying to get Taylor sent off? I thought that was disgusting behaviour against a fellow pro? Well, IMO no. It's natural behaviour if a player acts like Taylor did for you to want to see him punished. He deserved the red card and if the ref and linos cannot come up with the correct decision then then they deserve stick for it.
No way will Wenger go to Citeh. He won't have any excuses for failure if he goes somewhere with an unlimited budget. He'd only go there if Arsenal got rid, and I just don't see that happening soon.

Taylor was daft to put his arm across Ronaldo like he did but you're making it out to be a brutal assualt. He didn't even make contact with his head for a start.

Just because Taylor didn't connect with the head it doesn't negate the fact he was clearly attempting to. That's a red card offence.
Read an article the other day saying Utd will go unbeaten this season if Howard Webb refs all the games cos he failed to send off Ronaldo vs Blackburn and is scared to send off Utd's big name players.
This seemed to miss the fact that Ronaldo was sent off by Howard Webb in the Manchester derby.
Good to see the ABU's crawling out of the woodwork again this season. Was getting worried they had all started hating Chelsea instead of Utd. Normal service has been resumed.

Clearly attempting to? I don't think it was that clear and would have been hard to send him off based on that. If he had made contact with his head, it would have been a red, no doubt.
