Jimmy jumped from Salford when he didn't get the job there so I am suprised that he is staying with what seems like a demotion. I would expect Jimmy to gradually be sidelined and would not expect him to be around come the end of the season.
Well Doug Hoyle was right we were going for a world class coach with a proven track record. Just took nearly a year thats all.
All in all I think this is a really positive move, although I dont know what he will be able tp do in three days.
I told my wife that a husband is like a fine wine; he gets better with age. The next day, she locked me in the cellar.
In 3 days, hopefully, he will be able to impress on the players the importance of giving 100% for 80 minutes, and defending the try line as if their lives depended on it, as they did for the first 50 minutes at Knowsley Road.
I hope for a win on Sunday, but will accept defeat if they give their all in the cause.
Now looking forward to Sunday.
Apologies for being Naiive, but what exactly does a Director Of Rugby do?
Previous incarnations, such as Director of Football at Newcastle, and Director Of Rugby at Leeds and Castleford didn't last long, did they?
We're the first ones to starve, we're the first ones to die The first ones in line for that pie-in-the-sky And we're always the last when the cream is shared out For the worker is working when the fat cat's about
