I was boozing the Otley run whilst yer father was drunkenly groping yer mother. In fact, if yer mother was in Headingley any time between 1988-1992 there's a strong possibility I could be yer papa.

Not you Loz. Obviously I could never spawn anything as ugly as you. Or you Jord. I could never spawn anything as stupid as you/

right, i've had an argument going with mates at Uni in leeds for ages that the Otley run i know and that is done now never started at Woodies but started a lot further up otley Road in Cookridge

I think the hardcore and original Otley Run started in Otley and had to be tetley's pubs.

We weren't quite that hard-core. We usually started in Woodies and never got beyond the Three Horseshoes which was our fave.

Not much of a "run" - two pubs.

.

No, we rarely ventured that far that often.

We lived in Little London and would walk home from headingley so Osfoth was a bit too far. Though we did briefly try out the Old Ball as our regular haunt but ended up going back to the Three Horseshoes.

Also, Osfoth got a bit tasty every now and then. Didn't they have a mobile cop station for the naughty boys? As reserved little wall-flowers from the affluent estate in Little London we wanted no part of that ;-)

Any pub thats sells Carlsberg isnt worth visiting.

Pin, Midnight Bell and Leeds Brewery Tap are the best boozers in Leeds right now.

Leeds Pale Ale is the best drink on the market at present!

Headingley Taps

My fave boozer in Headingley, nice inside, good choice of same alcohol as everywhere else AND if its a Sunday, they do a cracking Sunday lunch with a drink for £4.95 which will leave you full for the rest of the day.

The Three Horseshoes
My fave drinking hole in the world at minute, nice warm feeling, cheap food & drink and show RL (well they didnt on Saturday but most other times they do)

:?

The last time we did the Otley run we started with 12 of us in Woodies. By the time we ended up in Yates opposite Morrisons in town there were 8 left.

Two were in hospital with broken legs after vaulting a small wall only find a 6 foot drop on the the side and two had been banged up for fighting.
