Frankly i wouldn't want him near Green Bay because of his attitude but to release instead of trade seems strange.

Even with the falling out which doesn't suprise me, allegedly to do with Romo favouring Witten etc, i'd still think if you keep that somewhat under-raps you could get anything from a round three pick downwards for him. Even if you only got a seventh it is better than releasing him.

Roy Williams (Safety) is apparantly getting released too. I can see him & Owens both at the Raiders. Javon Walker has apparantly restructured his deal to stay in Oakland.
