I'M SURE THERE IS NO CORRELATION BETWEEN THE FACT THAT THE FRONT RUNNERS FOR THE 2009 MEDIA WHINGING AWARD ARE FROM GATESHEAD AND HULL FC, FORMERLY THE B*ST*RD-TWINS OF ONE OF RUGBY LEAGUE'S LOUSIER IDEAS.

It's a step up from Hull.

Of course it's a step up from Hull, better squad, better stadium, bigger investors, more pro active boardroom and they don't have to live in the shadow of Hull Kingston Rovers.
They've had a blip at the HJ, that I can't deny, but it's not like they finished second bottom or anything is it?

Better squad on paper yes, but the game isn't played on paper and there team can't seem to play well together.
Better stadium? Now come on seriously! Bigger investors yes. But they just seem to go out and buy top players but they all seem to play as individuals and not a team.
