Touchline is back tonight..

lot's to talk about already as the season gathers momentum

- talk of sacking's / reshuffles already
- did the WCC further illustrate the gap between the NRL and SL?

If you've got anything to say about your club or the game in general, we'd love to hear from you.

Joining Lee Phelps and Dave Howes in the studio tonight is Hull FC's Chris Thorman - and there's lots of stuff to be won

Real Radio is on 106-108fm in West & Souht Yorkshire, on DAB and online via Realradioyorkshire.co.uk

Did it last season?

No, last year it didn't, the conditions served as a leveller.

what do you think?

I don't think it means anything, english sides have won more WCC matches than aussie sides but it has never meant the english sides are better, so the reverse is also true.

Generally aussie sides are better than english sides, but I think Leeds (with a fully fit side, unlike sunday) would compete in the NRL as would saints.

Manly are the best side in Rugby at the moment and make most sides including NRL ones look poor.

I personally believe the gap between the super league and the NRL is closing. I cannot see SL ever catching the NRL but improvements have been made year on year over the last 10 years.

largely agree with you - in the unlikely event of a global league we (the SL clubs) would over a period of time adapt

- to the conditions
- the conditioning
- the law interpretations

Most of the people i know who went to the WCC were hugely impressed with Manly, but given what they did to Melbourne in the NRL GF we should not be suprised at that.

In decent conditions it was great to see the all round skills set of the Manley squad and the athletiscism on show from the likes of Whatmough

Thanks, you forgot that in the first post :)
