It's sadly been the case at this club for a while now.

A front row of Fielden, Lynch, Feka and O'Carroll/Prescott is a fantastic one.
I agree with you about Fielden. I am not sure why some fans are critical of him as so far this season his effort has been very good and he has been consistent.

I think people are citical because lets face it for the wages he's meant to be on and for the transfer fee we paid he hasn't lived up to expectation.
He does a decent job and is better then Coley and probably more valuble then Feka but overall he's never reached the heights here we'd have all expected of him.
He was getting back to his best in the last 3rd of last season but has started this season very slow imo. Maybe his world cup rejection has knocked his confidence back.

I think even if he would of gone to the WC her wouldn't of recaptured his form
He only seems to show top form when angry or when he's got something to play for

People also forget props hit their best years from 27-30 and we have 2 young props already cutting it in super league and more, do the maths
Oh dont get me wrong, Lynch would still be a quality signing. My point was that OCarroll is very similar just much younger (therefor not at his peak or experienced which is where Lynch has the advantage)
Id still want Lynch if he could be signed

The angry bit is definatly something i agree with. When he is riled he becomes a different animal and looks back to his old self.
His run of really good form last year started against Wire at home when Briers hit him heigh and from that point he started to look his old self even taking on Peacock in a couple of cracking battles.
I've said it before we need a specialist 'beating' coach to kick the crap out of him before kick off!

I do agree is form has been better this year and he seems to be running straighter lines . Before joined wigan he always seemed to have great fast play of the ball ,which would always catch defences out i hope he can get this back in his game . Perhaps sometimes we expect to high a standard from him due to his past and or wages . sorry slow post agree with N.K.
Fielden defensively is solid, barely breaks the line or offloads the ball, not worth the money he's on. Probably get a top sh!thouse prop for his cash (and maybe someone else.
Coley, don't even get me started.
Feka, He can change the game when he's on, always a handful, great to watch. Has fitness issues even for an impact prop, don't think this will ever been corrected.
Prescott Stuck in the reserves for whatever reason.
O Carroll, arguably our best prop so far this season, but in all honesty this doesn't say much. He looks better than he actually is. Let's play him week in, week out to see how he develops, he has potential.
