As the sadly very, shall we say, premature ending of your brief encounter with my friend proved only too well.

So when is his trial anyway? Will he not have to go back to Australia for that?

What amuses me about this whole situation is the whinging of other SL coaches.

"It's unfair", "its bending the rules"

As if they are whiter than white and butter wouldn't melt on their mouths.

I mean this is the same crew who justify signings by grandparents and whatever to bend the rules but when someone else does something that is different.

But this is RL and logic, common sense and fair play are usually not part of the agenda are they.

I think Stevos thoughts on Boots and All last night were the most amusing aspect of this story, If he is denied access to the UK, stevo suggests we "check the eurostar".

Cheered me up after a poop day at work anyway.

Shouldn't have been allowed to sign for them IMO - more bias towards the expansion clubs from the RFL. :P

And which rule would you have used to stop it, exactly?

I'm not saying it shouldn't be addressed, mind, but as far as I can tell it breaks no current RFL ruling.

What are you talking about?

The RFL accepted his Bradford registration. I seem to remember Gary Hetherington saying something about the RFL bringing the game into disrepute or similar.

Go to the Catalans sub-forum. We don't want him either!
