No, he wasn't good enough to take us to the next level just like Brown. For a mid table team both of these players are ok. CT goal kicking was top notch but the rest of him had seen better days.

His legs may not be as fast as they were but I reckon his brain is just as quick. I hope he has a stinker on Friday.

i voted yes ! Thorman was a confidence player for us and when the crowd were on his back his confidence and his performance suffered.

very talented player is chris ,did a great deal for this club which shouldnt be forgotten but no doubt some idiots will be on his back on friday - just remember he only played where the coach told him to !

I say yes, he took a lot of stick over the past few years, a lot of it uncalled for too. Kicking was top notch, was dangerous in attack, but was played out of position too often

Voted no, irrelevant of his ability or the position in which he was played I just think that he was getting a bit stale at the club. IMHO he needed a change of scene to freshen him up a bit. It also seemed to me that he spent large parts of the season carrying a knock or two, nothing serious just a minor injury like his back and this hampered his performance.

He served the club well though and I wish him luck in his future career at Hull. I certainly won't boo him, especially if he throws a couple of interceptions in the last ten minutes or so (go on Chris you know you want to).

Somewhere buried among the lies of the past rests the tomb of Yeshua
Of he who was made God in a world without Hope.
And when this son of Joseph is found. What then will the Church of Rome say?
Prepare yourself for the day is coming. And men will say
"Blessed are the wasted lives who perished in the flames of the holy war"

He is a better and more creative half back than Brown and a better kicker than Hodgson.

I do accepet that he was released so Carney could come which was the RIGHT decision at the time .

With hindsight i wish we had kept him for one year .

Anyway it is all in the past now so good luck to him and i hope the fans give him a big cheer on Friday

From an outsiders point of view, I don't think you should have let him go for Carney but thats from someone who has a serious dislike for Robinson as a player
I don't think he is the right signing for us though and despite showing some promise against Leeds pre-season, he hasn't done much so far this season. He showed a couple of good touches against Catalans though so hopefully he is just bedding in

Agree with this. Talented player who for one reason or another didn't reach his potential at the Giants. Never booed him and will give him a round of applause on Friday. He needed a change of club more than anything and it will be very interesting to see how he goes for Hull this season.

i was wondering that dan as to what kind of reception he'll get, i hope he will get a warm reception from most fartowners
