Its true though Bill, we need a big leader in the pack who'll bang some heads and take us forward. Like Peacock does for Leeds, O Carroll has never punched a hole in a defence nor has he ever shown any real aggression, he's a worker, and thats it.

Thats what every team needs. No-one expects O'Carroll to be anything like Peacock, he is a completely different type of player.

Eamonn IMO has been the most consistent of our props so far, i know its early but its a cracking start. Hes not got chucked about like a rag doll like Fielden has sometimes, plays more minutes than Feka and Coley doesnt even deserve to get a mention.

You're watching different games to me, or confusing him with Coley or Fielden. More often than not, O'Carroll's stature and technique enable him to land on his front, gaining him a quicker play the ball and coupled with his leg drive, he gains more yards in the tackle.
For the record, neither Platty or O'Connor used to break a lot of tackles.

Yeh he is much more stocky with his low centre of gravity. You cant have 5 Peacocks in your team.

But he hasn't, if O'Carroll played for another team would you say he was a player you would want Wigan to go out and sign ?.........I doubt he would even get a mention, look at Saints, Leeds and Catalan, last years top 3 their props are all much bigger than him, as others have said the lads got a heart of a lion, but the body of a koala bear, sad but true.

I will look to the moment, and miraculously, the future will take care of itself.

I didnt say I wanted him to be Jamie Peacock, The point i was getting at is that we lack aggression in the pack. I dont expect miracles of him, he will take the ball in all day, but because he doesn't physically dominate, he takes ABSOULUTELY NOTHING out of the other teams forwards. Like somebody else has stated, if he wasn't at Wigan, would you want him? No.

But we have him, and with 3 other other great props he would be very effective.
