Both teams have players of quality. Plus the added edge of a local derby. I think the fans are in for a treat tomorrow.
A good old saying is that footballers spend 90 minutes pretending they are injured. Rugby players spend 80 minutes pretending their not. Also there is no such thing as bad weather only the wrong clothes.

MINERS WON A FIERCE LOCAL DERBY 18-10, THE EARLY EXCHANGES WERE A "SMASHATHON" WITH BOTH TEAMS WANTING TO KNOCK THE HELL OUT OF EACH OTHER, MINERS TOOK THE LEAD WITH A GREAT SOLO TRY BY ADAM CLAY, EAST HIT BACK WITH DANNY WEAVING CRASHING OVER, THE GOAL CONVERTED TO GIVE THE SCORE 6-6.CLAY SCORED AGAIN BEFORE ANOTHER GOOD INDIVIDUAL TRY BY FULL BACK JOHNNY POWNALL GIVING THE HALF TIME SCORE 18-6 TO LEIGH MINERS. IN THE 2ND HALF EAST WERE ON TOP WITH ALOT OF FIELD POSITION AND GOT AN EARLY TRY TO GIVE THE SCORE 18-10, MINERS HAD TO DIG DEEP WITH EAST APPLYING ALOT OF PRESSURE ON THE MINERS LINE, MINERS HOLDING OUT FOR A 18-10 VICTORY.
