Thats the point though i personally dont think Moa will have time to learn our attack and defence structures and his role in them to be better prepared than Maloney.
From reports Brown has got Hudds really switched on around the ruck and i think Moa would be targeted whilst he is on.

You could well be right. I was just making the point that you can't select a side based on how long players have been at the club.
As for his role in our attack - isn't that a no brainer?!

The point I think he was making was, if Moa can give us two decent 20 minute spells and make some good yards, that'll do for now. His place in the defensive structure ought to be very similar to other clubs he's played at. He's not likely to be defending just inside Calderwood, I wouldn't have thought.

Ditto, but massive risk, thought he'd of got a u21's game under his belt like, but both Agar and Sharp must see him able to start.. or come off the bench even.

You want an impact prop to do what exactly?
I think it's more relevant to consider mid-season transfers. What about when Fielden went to Wigan? Did they give him a few weeks to learn the structures, or throw him straight into the first team?

Pretty sure he was good enough to go straight in, not sure its comparable to Moa being a relative novice.
