RW brings many things to the team that most do not even notice,
1, his height in the high ball is so valuable and he almost always comes up with the ball !!
2, he tackles way way above his weight if in doubt ask Fielden and The Volcano!!
3, He brings to the field an extra clear thought process and never ever just drives head down, this lad is a footballer not a battering ram.
4, AND he is classed as slow because he is so tall!! but he is fast enough , again in doubt cast your mind back to CC finals etc
5, also his ability to read the long pass is extraordinary !!
He is THE versatile player in our squad when fit and I for one am so pleased he is fit again....

Nonsense, Hull might want him to be a backrower but he has never actually been one. He is a utility player with his best position so far in SL being centre. He is also a ball handling loose forward to some extent but not an out an out backrower.
To be fair Paul I dont think anyone knows what position is best for him which is why I can't see past him being Mr Utility again this season.
It was suggested at this stage last season about him been bulked for the back row. It just so happened ala G.Horne that an opportunity came up in the Centres and he put in some good performances.

Whiting would struggle to get in our back row also currently. Could he get a chance in the centres? Will it give us an indication when he plays reserves as to where Agar sees him playing?
