I think he is more suited to the backrow now but he has always been a back......could still do a job in the centres mind and may get more out of Calderwood than his current centre does.

Since when? He played all his rugby at Fev in the backs and has played 95% of his rugby at Hull in the backs.

I also believe he's a backrower, he's far too slow to be a centre. Could become a good looseman.

He's a utility player Ash, with no specialist position at the moment. He may well make a decent loose forward, he has the attributes for it I agree. But to claim categorically that he's a backrower when it simply isn't the case is a nonsense.

Thats a shame because if he had pace...we wouldnt need a centre as he would be 1st choice......if he goes to the pack.i will miss his interceptions.
