i would almost actually want to go to the leeds game if i thought riley and penny would both be playing
as it is a feel like im almost going against my will i really don't want to see matt king in a warrington shirt ever again...a donkey i can tolerate, a donkey on a champion racehorse's wages i can't!
get the young lads in now and in however many years time when we are constrained to use a certain amount of players who came through our own ranks we will be laughing
i would stick by riley for the time being, i'd stick by penny and bring him back and i'd drop matt king so bloody far it'd be untrue, get him in the reserves and let him have a trip mid week to some poop hole in huddersfield. Reality check time boyo!

Thats basically what i have suggested in the Leeds team thread, to be honest i wouldn`t lose any sleep if Matt King was dropped and we never seen him in a Warrington shirt again.

That reminds me, have the bin men been yet....
It's sad when you think back 18 months or so, and remember how excited we all were when the Matt King signing was announced. Now I reckon most Wire fans, myself included, would gladly contribute to a whip-round for his air fare back home.
I wonder if we could swap him for Brent Grose....

And that is purely your opinion.
I thought he had a shocker against the French.
Falling over into touch after taking a kick and conceeding possession - come on.
Last week was just as bad - letting the ball bounce? Coming into the line at, in my opinion, the wrong place and as a result taking a pass clearly not meant for him in the chops, conceeding possession and giving them a 60/70 yarder?
Stick him on the wing and put Hicks (with his undoubted experience) at FB.

LEGEND
We’ve waited too long for this day to come
Thirty thousand Wires standing as one
All travelling down, a sight to be seen
Man, woman and child sharing one dream
Tension in the crown as kick off draws near
Mixed emotions: excitement and fear
Restlessness as we huddle like cattle
Then Morley appears ready for battle
The rest of the team follow to fight to the death
The hooter sounds and we all hold our breath
Again the fans will have their own role
To sing and show passion deep from the soul
There may be times the players feel beat
Feeling too weak to achieve this huge feat
With their hopes and dreams they’ll look to the skies
To see a Primrose and Blue haze in front of their eyes
Then comes the roar; we never stop believing
This is one relationship we won’t be leaving
Cut us we bleed like everyone, that’s true
The difference being we bleed Primrose and Blue!

Very true, i used to love watching the NRL on a Saturday/Sunday morning when either Melbourne or Manly were playing and drooling over the ability of King and Monaghan, and thinking we were going to be Grand Final certs. 18 months on and we are a laughing stock, with King and Mona's looking shadows of the players i watched in the NRL.
it's a shame because he seems like a nice bloke but i would love it if there is some sort of unprecedented mid contract move back to australia for him
i was hell bent on being optimistic about him at every turn, when other team's fans were boasting about their centre owning him, including that game at leigh where, looking back, he was dismal i always had big hopes but now i say get penny back in there with bridge inside him, mistakes and all give the lad a good sustained chance to learn and get better
