People may remember last year Wigan supporter Mark Gibson had a life threatening accident whilst on holiday in Gran Canaria. There where various fund raisers for him and the Wigan fans got behind it in a sponsored walk from the Reebok Stadium to the JJB Stadium which was attended by many people who use this forum.

Here is the lastest update on Mark:

Nic Gibson wrote:03/03/09 - Hi everyone! Not been on for a while thankfully as Marks been doin great! Finally gone in to Hope Hospital today for his second operation to have the front of his skull put back in place. This is the last major hurdle and we all know Mark doesnt like to mess about wen it comes to a speedy recovery. I will keep you updated on how his operation goes! Thanks for your continued well wishes and support. Gibson familyxx

Well done mate, and keep up the recovery.

Great stuff.. Crackin lad! :D

A purple patch inspired on his home ground by man of the match WIGAN CAPTAIN Sean O’Loughlin produced three tries in an eight-minute spell just before half-time, and the GB Lions added two more after the break to maintain Smith’s 100 per cent record as Great Britain
coach.

Good lad Mark.

Saw him on Saturday, hadn't a clue about his operation.

He'll probably be at the Bradford game knowing him!
