Tickle was ok, but didn't offer any great boost apart from goal kicking.

Dobson and Briscoe are the two main ones who have played for us and now play for another SL club that I’d take back in a sec.

Briscoe at 1 and Dobson at 7 would strengthen out team now so much.

IMO Dobson is a must signing when he’s off contract in 2010 cause him and Tomkins at HB would be something very special.

I think even Briscoe himself has said he'd like to come back so that's enough for me! I'd have Kev Brown & Hodgson back too.

Newton, I would have said yes a season ago, but is he what he once was? I ask that as an honest question having not heard much about his performances recently rather than saying "I think he's past it."

Although I think Tickle is a decent player would anyone seriously have him in the team instead of Hansen, Hock, O'Loughlin or J Tomkins?

As for Dobson IMO he came in and did a solid job after Moran, kept it simple & kicked the goals which was what we needed at the time. I wouldn't have him back at Wigan as i think we could get a better 7.

iirc pat only took over when somebody was injured(cant think who off top of head)....he wasnt the regular kicker when he came.
if tickle had stayed he might still be regular kicker with pat as back up, or he might be back up to pat.
who knows?......but we would prob have beaten cas with tickle kicking.
