And it's not just hindsight...90% of posters on here would have had him in the 17 for those two games.
Had he not played against Quins we would not have won.
He may not be so crucial against Leeds and Saints but the above games were there for the taking. How frustrating!
He would have made a difference sure. Tim Smiths defense in those two games was appalling and Sam Tomkins would have made a difference in both attack and defense. But Tim Smith is not the sole reason the team lost. Certainly players have yet to perform to the standard expected of them, most noticeably senior players and some of the tactics and team selections from Brian Noble were baffling.
But as previously mentioned those games have been played and there is nothing we can do about it. There is no point in dwelling on it however disappointing it might be.
