You've answered your own question then haven't you

OK I'll wait three years then seems like many on here think like you as well, only I'll watch by ceefax if thats the case
Can't understand why anyone who thinks just because we've got a three year licence we shouldn't be competetive yet, its not stopped Wakefield, Castleford and Hull KR FFS
this will not be the end, or even the beginning of the end.
It is merely the end of the beginning

On the other front, you were always going to struggle as we did last year, give it time and you will improve, this year will be a long painfull one but it will get better

Nash I presume, and who else? Robbie Paul? The team have played much better when he's come off the bench, problem is game has been lost by then.Smith?must admit he's been a bit disappointing last two games, but did ok against Celtic and laid on 2 tries.I've a lot of time for Ratchford and I'm sure both he and Sidlow will soon get their chance.
?

As several Cas fans have posted on here, they struggled at first last season. Now look at them.
I've watched Salford for over 40 years and apart from the 70s when we were bankrolled by Brian Snape, and a few flashes in the pan in between,Salford have always been the same.Coaches come, coaches go,players come, players go,Salford struggle in the top division and are too good for the lower tier. The common denominator over all these years has been the poor amateur scene around the Salford area and poor crowds, meaning we've not been able to afford the top players who would have made a difference. We are in the same position now, and unless we get an influx of cash from the stadium(i'm not holding my breath on that one) we'll continue to struggle to compete.
P.S One thing worse than watching Salford live is listening on the radio or watching Ceefax. Now THAT will drive you mad.

Salford were rubbish saturday, there are no easy games in superleague now, win your home games nick the odd one away and see where we go from there.
As for going/not going hand on heart his salford side arnt that bad, compaired to some of the rugby served up by the shirts in the past, the reason it is poor is because its all about percentages with McRAE there isnt a flow in the moves its all very bitty.
Its not the Salford i fell in love all them years ago with but times change, people change, players change, coaches change, you have to adapt the way to feel best to get the most of out of it for you, if that means looking at the bigger picture in life then so be it.
Salford is a massive part of everyones lives cut it out and you become another person IMO
You clearly didn't see the incident!! No flares were thrown onto the pitch!!
Before anyone starts i'm not condoning objects being thrown onto the pitch! Some people need to get their facts right though before things get massively blown out of all proportion as in this case!
You guys shouldn't worry too much. Last year Cas were on the back of some horrendous scorelines and it's taken a long time to get us back up to speed, but we're improving. The step up from NL1 to SL is massive, and you can't expect your team to be matching SL sides after 3 matches. Just give it time.

Having missed the last two matches to take up my duties as a "football Hooligan" nice from a LUFC fan, I can only comment on what i have read and been told.
My first comment and this has not changed since day one McRae is not a good coach, he talked on Friday night about how weak both Wakefield ( a team we could only break twice the week before) and Warringtons defences were, but he has not done anything to make ours stronger. He talks a great game on Sky, perhaps its time he was full time at the Willows doing his first job not disappearing the afternoon before a match.
We need a coach to give the team and Club 100% then we will get 100% from the players, what would the new lads think?
It is early days, but I can see Luke Dorn scoring a hat trick against us on Friday unless a lot and I mean a lot of work is done this week TV appearances permitting.

Imagine the positive image Salford would've given out by being the first superleague club to say "We're not going to fill our overseas quota as we'll be giving youth it's chance and build our side around them for the next 3 years." The fans would see where the club are coming from and lets be honest it is unlikely we'd have played any worse than in the last 2 games.
Fair point. We could've done ourselves a big favour doing that. And don't get me wrong, I'm sick of seeing the same terrible, flat rugby week in week out. I'm just sick of constant negativity on here and in the stands. Let's give it least a few more weeks and see where we are before having a in. After all, did anyone really expect us to push out of the bottom three this year?
