Choosing to ignore the honest truth that of they were bottom of league etc they would still be charging the same!
What excuse do Hudds/Hull Kr/Saints/Wakey/Cas (Not sure about Salford this season)etc have?
You are right and some are a bit OTT this year:
I can't comment on Quins (£20?) / Crusaders (£14) as i've never been, Catalans don't really count seeing as its a couple of hundred to get there anyway.
Saints is £18 - for a shed with a roof is a disgrace i admit, but comparing with others its actually not bad when you consider Leeds £20 Bradford £17, Wakefield £18, Hull KR £20 don't have a roof (some will have infinitly better toilets i know)
Hull £20 is just about ok to be leered and jeered at for 90mins as the facilities are very good
Wigan £16 and Warrington £17 offer by far the best value for a travelling Saints fan the games are always good and the atmosphere is very good too
I concur that clubs should charge away fans the same prices as their clubs charge ourselves but sadly that just penalises our own clubs as fewer away fans will travel...
The way to pay these days is in advance - i went to Huddersfield on Sunday for £16.50 which is good value for a modern and seated stand against the Match day £18.50, Salford is £15 if bought in advance (£17 match day), Cas is £18 (£16 if pre-ordered online or £17 if bought through your club shop) Saints is cheaper too if purchased at least 24hrs before kick off at £16.50 - i'm not sure on the other clubs
