BRILLIANT , brilliant , for the first half.

Not just because we went in 7 to 6 up, though that was very good.
But because we more than matched a very useful , very good Barrow side and i mean matched them, in fact we were better than them and must have shaken them to their roots.

Defensively and in attack we made them look poor and their spectators knew it and were giving them severe grief.

Baz i am sure punched into the lads at HALF TIME to hold their pattern and complete their sets of 6 and stay calm and play the situation. He must have been a very happy COACH.

IT never happened and some very silly play caught us and we conceded three scores in as long as it taken to type this line ( literally ).

That was the only difference , similar to Blackpool in their 2nd half we just conceded too much ball , too much play and you are DEAD without the ball and the opposition crucifying your line.

WE are a very good team , sometimes absolutely brilliant , but we sometimes just don't know when to just play and tighten up hold the ball and worry the opposition.

Still worried about one or two team players and lack of common sense ( KAMIKAZE spings to mind) but BAZ has to sort it .
It can be sorted . WE were never worse than a 10 point margin their score does nor reflect our general game play and certainly not our ability or potential.

Roll on PIA at home and i will be gobsmacked if we do not beat them and progress, sadly we have to now rely on WIDNES away to beat BARROw to have any further games in the Rail Cup .

Just a word on the Barrow BAR if you dont want us to drink with you there are easier ways than trying to deafen us , JOKE lads .
I thought the lad doing the music was bloody excellent and was a ringer for ROD STEWART , gravel voice and all .

The Cougars are a very good outfit and gave us a bit of a scare in the first half. I've no doubt that Champ 1 will be fought out between you and Oldham.

That said, Keighley probably had 70% of possession in the first half, (through good play, Barrow mistakes and penalties) and could only put 1 try on the board - and that was from the fifth set of 6 from within Barrow's 20yd line. Our pack really got on top in the second half and gave our backs the position to score 5 unanswered tries (and to be fair it should have been more).

As I said, no disrespect to Keighley as I think you will be in The Championship next season, but the scoreline was a very fair reflection of the match.
