No one has commented on his try yet.

I realise Atkins made it but it took some scoring all the same. I know Warrington where tired but he just ghosted through and I honestly don't think there is another Trinity player who would have done it that well. He has a knack of scoring, an X-Factor of sorts.

Now I'm not getting carries away but is there a more natural attacking player than george in the squad. He isn't up there yet with Blanch or Haley, I certainly think he isn't ready yet.

What I like is that he is a throwback to an older style of winger. He is very quick, but unlike Blanch and halley his style isn't based on power and straight on speed. This lad can step and body swerve, has tremendous balance and poise and is a really gracefull player to watch. He is one of those players who's running style looks effortless and one for whom 80 meters appears a jog (in a good way).

Find this boy space and get his confidence up and he will score the kind of wonder tries from wingers we rarely see these days. Yes I know he is suspect when handling kicks so there is a concern. However I'd risk it where I wouldn't from Grix at F/B who can quite happily play elsewhere.

I think the point I'm making is it's nice to see an out and out winger and possibly ceentre in the future who is a natural.

Anyway I have probably destroyed his career now

I think Lukes future is bright and I really hope he makes it but did someone not post on here that he had pulled up again meaning he will make it only if he can stay injury free.
I for one am a big fan of his and think he got a lot of unfair flak on here after the bulls game with the high bomb catching him out.

Yes. George Hurt His Right Leg During The Game
He Had An Ice Pack Either On His Knee or His Thigh
He Did It In The First Half And Could Barely Run..
But He Came Back On The Field In The Second Half..
Went Off After 15 or so Mins Then.
Not Heard Anything Since The Game Tho :?

i agree with vastman, but having bin fresh to the field i think it helped him a great deal, took the ball very well and remained cool headed.
hopefully he can be a very unique technical winger possibly centre rather than the hulks that wakey are fielding atm in atkins and blanch who mainly rely on their strength.
another exicting prospect imo.

That was more or less my point. It's not so much George the player it's George the style of player, you just don't see them anymore. Nothing wrong with power and strength hulks but it's refreshing to see an alternative that's all about grace and balance. That said Atkins was very agile to start the move.
