I agree with the last comment about the aggressive reply. I certainly know that all I want is to sit with my mate and not be prevented from crossing over from one side to the other to do so even if my ticket says otherwise!

The problem here is that the west stand is effectively two stands, thanks to the way the stand was designed.
If you agree with your mate which end you will go in at, then there'll be no problem with you sitting together. As for the migration issue, that's one we're stuck with, unless the whole inside of the West stand ground floor is rebuilt. That won't happen.
These are the prices we pay for moving to a modern stadium.
Hilton Park, as decrepit as it was, was much more free, easy and flexible. LSV isn't. Everyone at some point HAS GOT TO accept this, coz it aint gonna change!
Let's not forget this season 1. Expect problems!
We will get used to it, and in a few years, we'll probably wonder what all the fuss was about.

Give me the LSV any day. I still think a good compromise would be to let people cross upto may be 15-20 mins before kickoff on games like todays.
We have a great PA and this could be used better for this type of info.
Oh by the way I love the big screen today Andrew. If that was your handy work.

TBH I couldnt give a flying whatsit where you sit especially if you dont and if you cant ask a simple question oh but then again you havent made up your mind have you?

It is no use agreeing with my mate if the tickets we have take us into what you agree are two separate stands.
Surely the tickets should have been sold as West Stand (north side) and West Stand (south side) or some such.
No, no, no, no, you have completely missed MY point.
Agree which end you want to sit, and if you have a ticket which is for the opposite end SWAP it.
As for your second point, Yes possibly they should have been, but they weren't! I'll repeat, IT'S SEASON 1! EXPECT PROBLEMS!
Anyone who expects a seamless transistion is completely and utterly deluded.

if previous posts are correct you will have a job.
It should have been reserved seating west unreserved east.

Back in mid dec when applying for st we and others were told to leave preferences blank as "we dont know what we are doing yet ".how true

1. I can guarantee you that wasn't official.
2. How can LC RLC know what they are doing if LSV don't?
