I recently discovered that Leigh's Hall of Fame is currently being looked after by a member of the past players association and decided to email the head honcho at LSV to ask him why there was no plans to display these pictures - of course I am still waiting for a reply and am going to email him again today and tomorrow etc until I at least get a reply from him.
I have his email address and would like to post it on here so that anyone else who's interested could also email him, but I'm not sure if it's allowed so anyone who would like it can either PM or if it's allowed I'll post it on here.
I do you hope you all take this opportunity to enusre the Hall of Fame doesn't get lost forever.
Serious sport has nothing to do with fair play. It is bound up with hatred, jealousy, boastfulness, disregard of all rules and sadistic pleasure in witnessing violence. In other words, it is war minus the shooting. George Orwell

That's why I got the number of the top man, and when I see him at the ground or on match days I am going to keep asking him (I can't go today because my daughter is poorly).
I just think it's disgraceful - I don't know who he thinks he is - he doesn't understand us 'rugby' folk so let's hope it's not too long before he's joining the long ranks of the unemployed!

Maybe the concourse under the North Stand would be a fair place to have the Hall of Fame at least the 'ordinary' fan (those of us too mean to pay an entrance fee to the Legends bar) could then see it, I'll mention it to James Ditchfield next time i see him.
Please do not send me any PM's I dont check this board often enough to be able to answer them, use my e mail add please fjparkinson@virginmedia.com

You mean the sort of rugby people who wish people would lose their job and become unemployed? A pathetic, childish, statement.
You've got kids? FFS!

No I mean the sort of people who can't do their job - get rid and employ someone who knows what they're talking about!

Well it seems like I owe an apology to Mr Ditchfield, I received a reply this morning and it appears the the rugby club have not even asked for the Hall of Fame to be displayed! (I'm always big enough to apologise if I'm in the wrong)
He says that he would be 'willing to discuss any request to display the 'Hall of Fame' should one be made by the Club'.
So I was wrong, now I just need to speak to someone at the club about their intentions regarding this matter.
