Realistically Raynor and Horne are the only genuine, consistent international standard British players we've had over the last 8 years or so, and more fans of other clubs would dispute putting Horne in this bracket than Raynor.
Not really.....Cooke totally sh@t on us as well but overall Cooke was a damn site more important to the team than Raynor was.

Thats why you got the Bullet Agar...Adam Pearson wants winners...not useless gits like you.

Swear blind he buggerd off to rugby union at 1 point and chased the money........the only time he moved sideways then was moving up a place on the Subs bench........some loyalty to the team eh.
all players chase the money, he admitted why he was going, but it was a bad move career wise, so he had the guts to buy out his contract and admit his mistake.
As for who's a better player, raynor or cooke, you could put raynor in any team in the world and he will score tries. Cooke, on the other hand took his 30 pieces of silver and has done nothing, that's the difference.

When Raynor comes back I can see him and Briscoe being on the wings and Calderwood dropped, Raynor is top quality and Bricoes is gonna be a star and deserves to keep his place right now.

doubt this why would we sign an international winger then bench him?
in same breath don't wanna go back to last season with no competition for places
Never criticise a man until you have walked a mile in his shoes.........that way you'll be a mile away and have his shoes.

Because at the minute Briscoe is out-playing Calderwood, you have to reward good-form. Apart from getting done by Mogg (defending at centre) Briscoe had a great game and is the kind of player that doesn't solely rely on good service. For me on current form, Raynor would replace Calderwood because he is in the top few wingers in the competition and we cannot afford to leave him out unless he gets in and starts playing poorly.

But Kath likes Calderwood
