I don't think it was entirely their fault to be honest just a build up of emoticons, plus I don't see any need for segreagation in rugby at all.
Hardly a surprise that people felt like throwing stuff at the players when once again they decide to toss it off. Hopefully for their sake they'll think twice before trotting out the same performance in France again.
Personally I've reached my tolerance limit for watching the shirts get hammered. I realised last season that I only go to the game now to see my mates and to be honest I can do that outside of rugby. At £18 to get in + travel expenses and 5/6 hours minimum of my weekend I can think of more efficient uses of my time and money. It said a lot for me that one of the most prominent members of this forum spent most of the Wakey thinking about the amount of ironing that he could have been getting through instead of being at the match.
The opening sentence of the official report just about sums the situation up ...

Think it is a disgrace that so called "fans" feel the need to throw home made sparklers onto the pitch at our own players!!(wasn't rocket science either to see the direction it came from )also as for giving "support" to the team!!Whats with booing the team 3 games into the season?

I assume by the use of speach marks you are trying to insinuate it was me or the group of people I was with, I can assure you, I would never throw anything at any of our players and would never, ever, ever boo our team. Were not Wire.....

I'd never boo any team or player putting there body in the firing line everyweek in one of the toughest contact sports around. Some of our fans seem to expect a lot higher things than of the last 2 games, but we really need to wke up a bit and realise the big class in difference from teams we played last year to full time established sl teams. It will take a few more games before the right combination of players is found to at least give us half a chance.I think our aussie new boys will have been taken back a bit,in not quite realising how good super league actualy is!Take the team that has played tonight and last week. How many players were present last year?It is going to take time for the boys to gell together.Lets not get to downbeat and at least make it 2 home wins aout of 2 next week against quins.Chins up

what a hard nut he was gey top and takes his son with him as well . TOP GUY
Rugby is a family game! thats why home & away fans stand together, if you want to keep fans apart go & watch the idiot game football.
I thought the way Castleford encourage children & families to attend tells me rugby is the greatest game.
Come on Salford club, we cannot ignore these few idiots any longer.

Although we have a had a few differences of opinions on other threads, I have to say that is a very fair analysis.

Thing i noticed tonight was that perhaps cas had watched wakey expose our weak areas(a fair few at the mo too!)in being to handle with kicks on the last, especialy into the corners and the high bomb! The first 20 was identical to last week, and imo fitness, speed and strength we seem to be lacking compared to the opposition.Questions might need to be asked as we just seem to be so slow in every department, and when we do seem to speed things up and play the ball around,we seem to balls things up under pressure and panic!
