Seriously stop complaining and get behind your team, you were very poor tonight to be fair but if you stick with the team/staff things will get better. Sacking Lowes isn't the answer imo the same as sacking Cullen.
No...they...won't.
Well they may, but we wont win nothing with a coach whos learning the ropes and cant deal with the pressure.
I'd like to close this post with a final comment,
Lowes out.

Everybody knows the guy they want as manager isn't available until 2010, thus Lowes being given the job for this year...unfortunately, nobody could have envisaged Lowes making such a shocking go of the job...
Dilemma time....
...Do they sack Lowes, abandon the Tony Smith route and go for Hanley?? (or some other candidate).....Do they basically give up on this season at this early stage, and leave Lowes in charge, praying the fans won't walk out en masse, leaving them in a financial mess???...Or do we sack Lowes, and find another short term option before the messiah Smith takes over??
It isn't easy being a Wire!!
If they do have Smith lined up at the end of the season and it's a done deal, then just friggin tell us, at least then we know what is going on and maybe, just maybe we would be more tolerent. I understand that they would not be able to name names but if they came out and said "there is someone in place for 2010" at least we would know. If this is true surely the players would know about it.
United Road, take me home

You may aswell keep hold of Lowes until you have a replcement. My biggest worry is that you lot get Tony Smith on board before our tight booty chairman is forced to make a change at our place.

Firstly he refers to the fact he's still learning - FFS we're not a training club! We're a wannabe top SL club and should have a coach of that standard! Not somebody who's just cutting their teeth! He should be in the lower leagues for that.
Then when Eddie and Stevo picked up on our poor line defence and poor passing of the ball he commented that both of those areas had been alright. How can conceeding 48 points be acceptable?????
This guy has no clue where are problems are and how to fix them.
The comment of.. Our Defence showed Enthusiasm? Are we for real?
Im quite enjoying it at the moment? Im glad he is!
I said last year as soon as he was given the job it would end in tears. He is totally out of his depth. Ala Rafa (Liverpool) rant at Fergie was the signal of self destruct, The Coaching stff saying at the start of the season The team were ready to rip someone apart was ours. Before a Odd shaped ball was picked up we were doomed.
The very fact he is still in interviews saying he got it wrong by having little amount of prep games containing first teamers in pre-season is ridiculous. Youve also had 3 Superleague games now and were getting worse.
Your run of results (Not including Preseasons to Wigan, Leigh and Swinton by the way makes it 11) LOST 8. Whom have you lost to?
In that time we have scoredn 158 points (20 points per game), more concerning is the fact weve managed to ship in 295 Points (A nerving 37 points per game). Now I dont know about anybody else but getting beat 37-20 is a bit of a pasting in my eyes?
You have to go. Youre completely out of your depth and I would wield the axe now, taking the entire coaching staff with you.

I believe that Tony Smith agreed terms long before the end of last season, but due to contractual obligations to the RFL nothing will be announced until September this year. John Bastian leaving Leeds for Warrington was a big clue.

If this is the case, then we really should ask Smith who will be his assistant and put them in charge for this year.
I'd rather the club came out and said we have a coach lined up for next season, however cannot name him.

Bit unrealistic I reckon.....Do you really think the media would just leave a statement like that alone??
There would be constant rumour going around (mainly about Smith), and this would just serve to upset the ship even more...It could also give chance to more embarrassment if that 'unnamed' candidate suddenly decided Wire wasn't for him...Remember Scolari and the England job??
Ultimately, it doesn't help that our short term option (Lowes) is making such an appalling job of steadying the ship until the long term guy takes over.

Maybe his Assistant isn't available either. I think the club have to be very careful with their treatment of Lowes before any new appointment is made in case he goes down the 'constructive dismissal' route.

Constructive dismissal? I don't know whether that was intentional but thank you for making me chuckle. It's more like 'destructive resignation'.
Surely to God they could sack Lowes purely on the on-field results, let alone anything else.
