Mate, it's an opinion based forum, ppl agree and disagree all the time. Why turn into an internet warrior if someone doesn't agree with you!?

The best decision noble has made in the four games this season bringing ST on he showed skill, heart, determination and showed pride in the jersey. Faultless in defence and attack.
Ainscough was superb and regarding a previous post saying he got skinned a couple of times maybe he did maybe he didn't he scored two class try's showing great determination to beat the defence for both not seen that amount of determination off any of our so called STAR players for me there should only be 5 defo names next week PAT TOMMY HOCK S.TOMKINS & AINSCOUGH the others should try following by example.

Why have we been messing about with players like Cameron Phelps when we've got Sean Ainscough?
Why have we been messing about with Players like Tim smith when we have Sam Tomkins?
That rant aside - Well played lads you did us proud. (Although I'm not suprised by this).
Because despite his post match quote, unfortunately Nobby is reluctant to play the youngsters until his hand is forced. Sam and Shaun showed the way forward for Wigan tonight. Let's hope it wasn't lost on the powers that be.

WD SA and ST; sad fact that they probably wouldn't have been in the side but for suspensions (Mathers and McIllorum). I can only hope that they are given a fair chance when the more established players return.
Conroy - Being a Latics fan i'm already immune to watching sh*te.
Sally Cinnamon - Treat the Saints forum as you would if you met a girl from St Helens. Best policy would be to avoid altogether but if you absolutely can't resist temptation then take every possible precaution.
loved seein them on the pitch and IMO they were showin the old guys up. Riddell looked poor as was smith - tomkins looked more of a threat than smith, hope these guys are picked next week

Its all about hunger, the fact that these boys are local, and not here for a pay day or just to enhance their career. This is what we have been missing a desire to do well for your boyhood club.
What really impressed me most was watching and listening to Tomkins' post match interview. Ainscough looked like a giddy little schoolboy, which is understandable, but Tomkins looked and spoke very mature; he answered each question thoughtfully and coherently (sp?) and generally articulated himself very well. He also seemed very level headed, which will do him no end of favours IMO. The biggest benefit, or flaw, in a players' game is their attitude - often, some people will sign for a big club (do they come any bigger than Wigan, for a 19 year old Wigan lad, at least?) and think 'yes, that's it, I've made it' and strut around the training pitch. Tomkins strikes me as someone who thinks 'This is the just the begining. Now, I have to work on my game, listen to those around me and incorporate whatever I can in my game that will be of benefit to me and my team.', which should be applauded.
