It only takes one win to shut them up, I’m sure Noble will build on this win and we will gather momentum. If I’m wrong fair play Noble out! But I’m sure we are going up from this match onwards even though it wasn’t a stellar performance.

Don't get carried away - its just one decent game compared to three poor ones.

Nevertheless I hope you are right and Wigan build on the win and Noble keeps selecting players based on form.

Nice to see Noble say it still wasn't a good performance and they are still not playing how they want to. Improvement is the key - but he has earned a week without too much criticism I believe.

15th October 1989 - the beginning of a love affair.

Wigan RLFC for life.

Course the Noble doubters are still here.

We were bloody awful tonight.

The youngsters did well but against a decent side tonight we'd have been tonked.

I don't know what it is but some teams in various sports such as Man United in soccer struggle to get started at the start of the season and will lose to "less superior" teams. I can only think the disruption is due to new arrivals from overseas settling in the area and into super league. If Noble can get the best out of these players we will be the force we have been hyped up to be.

What a crock. Based on the last 3 games I would agree but there is no evidence for that based on tonights performance. We defended well and 1 try apart were only breached by good rugby (or a knock on). Not saying all is rosy by any means but at least enjoy what was a distinct improvement. I hate the f*cking whinging Wiganers. Makes me ashamed to have to count myself among the same supporters.

we were awful in general......and thats down to nobby.

smiths a liabiliy in defence.......sam showed him how to tackle

riddell.....where do i start.
can anyone tell me how many tackles he made, cos i dint see many.
isnt it a hookers job to follow the play and tackle, tackle, and tackle again.??
hooker should always be close to top tackler.
