Aye, well done last night, I think you just about deserved the win, also well done to your fans for singing all the way through and for so many turning up, a credit to your club. There were a ot of police outside but I didn't see any incidents so again well done.

One consistant thing though is the great defence we have shown, its tough to break down although still having daft lapses that need to be addressed!
Seems Justin has a hoodo over half backs though, Bird (Bradford), Burrow (Leeds) and now Pryce (Saints)!!! Did I hear that Obst limped off at Wakey last night???!!
The way Wakey seem to be playing this year I am quite worried about the game next week just because they have speed on their flanks and work really hard down the middle even though they dont have the biggest of packs. We have what it takes to beat them but we have to treat them like a St Helens or a Leeds otherwise we will lose.
And they had a try disallowed in both games
We need to back this up now. I want 8 from 8 in March (Wakefield H, Celtic H, Warrington A, Salford H) - should be quite achievable.

What about the Fa'asavalu knock-on in the lead up to the drop goal? And when they went for the short kick-off, I'm sure a Saints player touched it last before it went into touch....

Great result from the Robins last night the atmosphere was electric.
Two Strong Hull Clubs is what we require to put some pride back into the England shirt.

No fluke about it either and if i was being harsh , Rovers should have had more points in the first half but didnt make enough of the great field position they had - testament perhaps to saints defensive strength.
The change of tactics in the 2nd half was a brave call but justified totally with Fox's try - and although Michael Dobson did play well and will get the headlines and yes got Rovers home in the end My MOM was Shaun Briscoe-
top 80 minutes from the lad both defensively and in support offensively - captaincy doing him no harm at all- and when Dobson did make a couple of errors , the captain was right there to chivvy him along.
wasnt a classic game too many errors from both teams for that but you couldnt take your eyes off it
and if anyone's interested generally first candidate for man of steel after only 3 rounds - Tony Puletua what a player- im sure Rovers fans would agree
Very impressed with Puletua , why did Potter take him off at such an important time of the game ?

Another excuse from you lot 0 from 6 points was predicted sorry to upset
you lot again.
Some of you are now predicting a fantastic season for the dullers even though you have played two poor sides .

I didn't see this as a shock result and i dont see how the fixture list can be easier on any one team than the next, we now play everyone twice plus on extra in scotland.
Thanks for the game last night it was one of the best matches i have seen in years!
