Ideally; Craig Bellamy or Des Hasler! Realistically; Tony Smith.
Didn't William Webb Ellis pick up the ball and run, someone should really tell Rugby Union.

Tony Smith, John Kear would make us a much better side.

Read recently about Manly having a few financial issues. Don't remember whether the article was refering to salary cap or more general financial problems, but if the latter they may be tempted by a large compensation package for Hasler!
More realistically, I would like Kear. He always seems to be able to produce a team far stronger than the sum of its parts (the exact opposite to what Lowes and Cullen are/were able to do). If he could manage the same at Warrington I would be very happy indeed.
I have a sneaky feeling that the board will give Lowes more time than any Wire fan will find acceptable before replacing him with Nigel Wright who will keep Tony Smiths seat warm.

Manly's problems stem from their two benefactors falling out.

Remember Paul Cullen did the same thing with no money around 2002/2003 and the team really did play better than the sum of it's parts and got us into the playoffs for the first time.
What Paul Cullen seemed to struggle with is managing the egos of apparent world class players.
Jimmy Lowes just appears completely clueless.
