We need to attack against the Ozzies and NZ, there is no point in having safe defensive players against teams like Oz, because it won't win you games it will just delay whent they score.
What he said. I like Briscoe but we've had Wellens for long enough as a 'brave' fullback.
You've stolen my washing From out my back garden You've tarmacked my driveway Even though I said no You've nicked my lead flashing And weighed it in at the scrappy Oh St Helen's tatters Come rob me again

I liked the idea of Fox going to Australia and I have no idea why he didn't. He's got speed, a rugby brain and is good defensively. He also finishes well (which is actually what Gardner does very well, assuming Gidley throws to him rather than at the roof). Gardner is not as fast as Fox but then all but two Saints players are not as fast as the rest of SL (the two being Pryce and Eastmond, both of whom are very fast when allowed to run). Gardner has also become a class act defensively. But he does need a good centre. There again, so does every winger.
As for Smith, I think he's over-rated at fullback. While he does have the pace, yes, he isn't very safe defensively and like it or not, fullback is still the last defence and he has to be safe as well as fast. I don't know how fast Briscoe is? He looked good last night. But if he has pace then I don't see why he shouldn't be given a go at international level because what I've seen of him looks good enough. Wellens is past it now internationally and he knows it (he has already mentioned about not playing internationally again anyway). He had his day and was very good for most of it.
I'd like to see both Briscoe and Fox in an international side. There are a few other players from other clubs I'd like to see for England too. I think the only two that should go from Saints are Graham and Roby (but Roby only if he is allowed to play impact hooker). Pryce would also be great but he's just too unreliable, which is sad because he is a gifted player when he plays. And damn, did we miss him last night. He is a creative genius when he tunes in.

All those years playing for Hull FC and you never actually spotted Briscoe?
fox is far superior to gardner and should be iven a chance for england.
not sure about briscoe i'd probably go with smith.

The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

Gardner had a very good game last night, he made loads of yardage in midfield and was solid in his all round game.
Peter Fox merely showed that he was quicker than Gardner on a long kick chase run, which is something everyone knew anyway.
Fox is a decent player and deserves another shot at international level. For me he is stronger than calamity Calderwood or Crab Raynor.
Remember that he plays on the opposite wing to Gardner.
