I rate Morley as leading from the front but i do not believe that he has the verbal ability and enthusiasm to gee the team up when we are down. I firmly believe that we need a change there but i can not see any alternatives to be honest - maybe Westwood at a push.
I was having this discussion last night. Morley is captain material by virtue of leading by example. I would appoint a co-captain who is more vocal, perhaps Clarke or Monaghan.
Didn't William Webb Ellis pick up the ball and run, someone should really tell Rugby Union.

Simple answer NO!
The man is a thug and has a miserable discipline record.
If Morley leads us by example, God help us. The rage he flew into during last week's game was of complete detriment to the rest of the team and culminated in him getting a battering from Fakir. To be honest, he deserved it.
The answer is no. Morley's form has been terrible in the opening games of this season and in any case I can't see the logic of having a captain who isn't going to be on the field for all or a vast majority of the game.

He seemed very vocal after Luke George went in for his try.

Morley is a great player imo and he his captain material in his action on the pitch, he isn't however on the pitch for 80 mins and he isn't a vocal captain so when all said and done i would make somebody else captain but then again nobody else warrants being a captain.
I would imagine that Morely is already thinking that his move to the wire was one of the worst decisions he has made in his career. Taking the captaincy away from him would no doubt lead to him 'needing a fresh challange', resulting in your club losing its best player. It truly would be the dumbest thing you could do, so in true wire tradition i expect the announcement that he has been stripped of the captaincy imminently.
