With one or two exceptions I think most of the Saints fans have been very gracious in defeat.
I’m not sure this result is such a big shock though. Ever since we came up we’ve collected more points against the top six than the bottom six. Our problem hasn’t been competing with the big guns, it’s been our consistent failure to take points from some of the lesser sides.

Wello is a fantastic full back and the man for others to aim at- but the way Shaun is playing it makes a nice problem for the England coach and the more of them the better- agreed
and on that subject Saints had 16 English players ( yes that does include Fasavalu) in their 17 last night and some of those young lads really did play like men , Makali Aizue really smashed young Andrew Dixon with a tremendous drive - perfectly legitimate hit - but after a few seconds the kid got up got back in the line and made the next tackle- that lad is 19 today - there is hope for the future
