Briscoe for me is one of the best youngsters in the country. He's strong, fast, intelligant, defensively sound, good under a high ball - he's got everything. Never mind the future, this kid is a star already and tbh I'm quite suprised he didn't get mom tonight. Considering his size and age, his strength is freakish! His try saving tackle in the second half was unbelievable and as long as he stays fit, theres no doubt in my mind he will be one of our first choice wingers when everybody's back.

When Raynor returns, the spot on the wing should still be his in my opinion and it's Calderwood that has to put the work in to keep the shirt on his back. Brilliant display again tonight. Made some really powerful breaks as usual. The try saver in the second half was also amazing, can't wait to see a replay of that.
Unfair on Calderwood tbh....he hasnt had any ball but his tackling has been spot on for me and helps the forwards out and was smart enough to get us a pen last night when he ran straight at the man who had come out of square marker............Why should Raynor walk back in?

Also didn't make a fuss when he bitched the Catalan player one on one and received an elbow in the face for it. Just got on with it. Think he'll be a very good asset for us once we learn how to use him like Leeds did.

How long before we can take him off your hands lol!!
A very very good player but as much as I want to win the derby I want him to play just to see how he goes in front of 24,800 fans that could get quite hostile at both ends of the pitch...etc. Its ok some players saying they switch off to the noise around them but the pressure to make the correct decisions say if he goes two on one with the other Briscoe in the final few minutes with the scores level does he dummy or does he draw and pass?! As a Rugby league fan I enjoy seeing young players shine like Watkins did for Leeds, the Burgess brothers...etc
What do you think to a future wing centre partnership with Briscoe and Welham?!

Went 80 metres last season no problem.
Wont happen as Briscoe is a centre himself and is covering Wing for us....another 2 years at least before we put him in the centres.
