I'll believe it when I see it thankyou very much.
Samedi 28 février à 13 heures, la Fédération Française de Rugby à XIII organise une conférence de presse au cours de laquelle le Président, Mr Nicolas Larrat, présentera le nouvel entraîneur de l'Equipe de France.

love it...
"he's playing amateur rugby leage in widnes"
is seen as a reason why he wouldnt become coach of france...of course, why would he choose working with professional athletes, trips to somewhere hot, sunny, with great food and good beaches, and the chance to pit his wits against England, Australia and world champions New Zealand...

Because he was rubbish. Great in the early 90s, but we don't play in the 1990s any more.
Can't quite believe it, but it appears to be true. All the good work done at club level goes and gets undermined at the very top level by a bizarre appointment of a man who, clearly, holds French RL in contempt.
I would love to eat my words on this, but I could sh*t a better RL coach. Any one of the current SL coaches - even Noble - would be better. For that matter there are a number of LER coaches who would be a better choice, heck, why not give the job to an LER academy player while we're at it?
Younnes Khattabi for French coach!

Hmm. Do the French know what they're doing? Wait until tomorrow and Noble will be looking for a new job. Experience of international and top SL level coaching, he's their man.
