It's fair enough that they never beat teams using skill or flair, because they are not good enough to do that, but to talk them up as 'creating a lot' is not accurate. They were simply not terrible. Warrington played as bad as I have seen a side play for a few years.
You can only beat what's in front of you mate and if we can score 48 points without creating anything that can only be a good sign. To overcome the early loss of two hugely influential players and still win with any amount in hand is a credit to Kear and the players.
We may start to create a bit more when we have our 'creative' players on the park.. Brough, Leo-Latu, Grix, Rooney, Sculthorpe.. will all help us in that respect when they get back to match fitness.

Yep, I would agree with that. I was happy Wakefield won tonight.

If it hasn't worked by now, it never will! I'm all for reaching out to a wider audience with our game but not at the expense of historical clubs in the homelands.

I can't help myself here..... Did you watch the game? Did you think about what you typed?
I know its different on telly sometimes, but we scored a hatful - with 1 recognised ball player for 60 odd mins, we had 2 men limp off early not to return. We completely dominated the first 20 mins or so, creating pressure that lead to (granted a fairly weak to start with) defense cracking. As has already been pointed out, you can only beat whats infront of you and tonight (as we have 2 other times this year so far) did with relative ease - all things considered.
We put this festival on you b*st*rds
With a lotta love
We worked for one year for you pigs
And you wanna break our walls down
And you wanna destroy us
Well you go to hell
