Personally i think sam will get a game this week.

With Mcolorum out banned and with only riddell the only hooker it screams that sam will come off the bench with Tommy going to 9 when Piggy comes off after about 30 mins

''Oct 28 - Dear Mr Hitman 8976200, I knowledge my glaring error in mis-identifying the Dynamite Kid's accent as cockney instead of Wigan. I am just a confused Canadian and my lack of distinction between the two accents was indeed a glaring error. Thank you for pointing out this glaring error. Now shut the hell up and move on with your life.

wouldnt bother speculating on wages ins and outs in the future

i still fail to see how barrett, higham, calderwood leaving add up to riddell and roberts coming in? considering phelps and smith had already joined last season either we broke the cap last year or didnt act in the spirit of the cap by suspending wages?

bar all this a few people have mentioned lately that way back at deanery at start of last season IL said that 2009 would be the year our wage structure would stabilise and he could finally be in total control of signings without the bill being too top heavy - so far so good then?

anywway, i hope sam plays this weekend but just to reiterate my point i heavily doubt he will fix this mess. between him and ainscough we should have some passion but lets not break them with pressure

I've seen them bomb a quarter final, bottle a semi final, finish as league leaders, but I've still, never, seen the Wire win the league

Barrett's Higham's and Calderwood's salary went on Riddell, Robert, Pryce and upgrades for some of the younger members of the squad, and also probably Phelps and Smith.

In terms of contracts it's quite legitimate to have a contract that at the starts says you get (say) £50k in year 1, £100k in year 2, £150k in year 3, without breaking the cap.

And having stars such as:

Peacock
McGuire
Burrow
Danny B
Webb
Seinfield
Senior

Plus a quality squad of many more realistic? YES. They're called Leeds.

Fact of the matter is when the cap is worked well a team of great players is still very doable.

Remember

Bailey-Big contract
Fielden-Massive contract
plus
Coley
Mathers
Phelps
plus maybe others.

The cap at Wigan still isn't worked well.

24 minutes, 10 seconds, to be precise if we go by Nobbys subs watch or 10 minutes 24 seconds if we go by Piggys stamina watch.

Not fair, the lad wanted to stay on last week.

Conroy - Being a Latics fan i'm already immune to watching sh*te.

Sally Cinnamon - Treat the Saints forum as you would if you met a girl from St Helens. Best policy would be to avoid altogether but if you absolutely can't resist temptation then take every possible precaution.

think the point is this is now IL's squad and our use of the cap seems no better than under Mo.
