What a stupid comment from Noble and the players - how can they not expect criticism after losing to a depleted Wakefield side at home and last years bottom two clubs - including the worst side in super league at home.

Noble wants to protect his players - he's not doing a good job coming out and saying what he is doing.

I was shocked after reading Nobles comments in the WEP tonight.

You would think he is the coach of St.Pats, not Wigan Rugby League.

This is the most unanimous thread I have seen on here in ages.If the players were to read it it might give tham a nasty shock as to how they are perceived by the people who pay a good chunk of their wages.

Brian Nobles comments actually remind me of Frank Endacotts after we had just lost to Salford.

After the game Happy Frank announced that we wouldnt be the only team to lose at Salford....shortly after he was sacked.

Now Frank may well have been a decent coach but his comments where far removed from how the supporters felt at the time and you just knew that the end was nigh.

Noble seems so out of touch its unreal, if some peole think that its the players fault then just look at some of Nobles decision making last season and this season, he has made some horrendous errors that have led to some awfull results.

Is this not more aimed at the media than us? Although some of those comments imply it's both. If it is aimed at the fans as well what exactly do the players expect? Fans to go and pat them on the back and tell them they played well in a patronising manner when they quite clearly didn't.

From a personal point of view it irks me when I know I have played badly and someone says "well played". You feel like saying "did you watch the game?". Some players at this club appear to have a severe attitude problem.

W@nkers the lot of em!! These players show no pride what so ever. They don't deserve the honour of playing for this great club. Do they think they are performing well?? I want to see players saying how gutted they are at the poor performances and how it just isnt good enough. Not whinging about people criticising them!!
