Alot of people salivate over Hall, frankly i've never thought he lives up to the hype. He is decent though. He is the Chad Johnson of CB's. I'd rather have somebody with less talent who puts 110% than people like Hall.

Al Harris supposedly getting cut. Going to be interesting to see who we go after in general. Rumours about us getting a FA LB from Atlanta (can't remeber the name?). I wouldn't mind somebody like Derrick Brooks either for a season or two.

Keith Brooking ?

More likely Michael Boley, who's also UFA although we're hopefully of re-signing both Brooking and Boley.

Boley would be the much bigger loss, Brooking is starting to lose a step and is likely to get replaced probably by Stephen Nicholas in the next year or two.

Thats the guy, Boley.

To be honest i've never really noticed him or know enough about him to decide whether he'll fit in our 3-4.

De-Angelo Hall was not let go by the raiders as a locker room cancer. He was always completely misused by their defensive co-ordinator. They signed a read and re-act corner and asked him to play bump and run. His play after moving to the Redskins was solid.

He's a home town boy with the Skins and his deal is less than the Raiders paid him less than a year ago.

Not that I am saying Snyder doesn't pay over the odds but Schefter reported that haynesworth turned down more money from Tampa to sign with the Skins.

There's a lot of people don't like Snyder but he certainly knows how to get his man.

I didn't read Schefter's blog about the Buccaneers and Haynesworth but he obviously feels the Redskins are nearer to reaching the big game than the Buccaneers are.

Kellen Winslow has been traded by the Browns to the Buccaneers.

Looks like Ray Lewis is leaving the Ravens too.

Winslow is a surprise move certainly, if Rogers goes too, then it makes it a big rebuilding year for the Browns.
