The more I read articles like this and comments from IL and BN in the press, the angrier I get. This is ridiculous stuff from BN.

BN talks about his job being to protect the players. Is he a coach or a nanny/social worker? Absolutely pathetic.

What he should be doing is making them take responsibility for their failures (and showing leadership in doing the same himself).

This isn't whining on the scale that we saw from some of the players after the disgraceful Hudds game last season but this sort of bleating is still totally unacceptable, particularly coming from the coach.

Things seem to be lurching from bad to worse at the moment.

A defeat on Saturday and the word "crisis" will inevitably (and rightly) be used in the press yet again about our once proud club.

Stung by criticism from 'outside' the club. Cheeky tw @t. We are the club and we'll still be here supporting it long after this current bunch of lame dicks have left the scene.

As for the player who walked out when asked if he wanted to play for the club? That just shows weak management that he was ever let anywhere near the place again. What's the point asking the question if, when you expose one of the pi$$ taking leaches, you do nothing about it?

Exactly. I would love an explination from IL over why he is still at the club.

If an individual is asked "do you want to work for our company anymore"? Then the reply is "No"!.
If this did happen with a Wigan player then there is simply no point in them being there!
If true, then surely something could have been done to get rid!
That couldn't be too difficult could it?

The players have to accept this criticism as it is justified at the moment.

That's just the point I applauded that particular squad because they gave everything they had 100%, week in and week out.

The size of the defeats meant nothing and the atmosphere generated by the fans was almost carnival. We know this current squad of players are well above that particular 2005 - 2006 benchmark and that's what the squad of Super League XIV must understand.

Keeping a post-match cold beer in the fridge since 1979! and a little before that if the real truth be known!!

I really do hope that this was aimed at the media who have revelled in our constant demise. If not, and was directed at the fans......Well i'm f00kin livid....maybe BN could give some clarification to this part of his interview as Jimmy Birts stated previously...."When you and some of your prima-donnas have p!33ed of in to the distance well still be here"

When Maurice sold me to Leeds something changed, it just not the same, the passion inside me just wasn’t the same as running out at Central park for my hometown club.
We need a change of culture here; we don’t want to be just happy with playing ok on Saturday at St Helens.
Ill make sure that from now on things will change, that players will be under pressure and will train a lot harder than they have before.

20th: Wigan
The Latics don't have any fans, yet alone any famous ones.
