Another Ganson shocker was again against London at the Boulevard, Prekkie had just dropped a goal, some sort of fight broke out resulting in Prekkie and a London player getting binned. Ganson then tried to restart the game with a london twenty metre restart

I don't hate Ganson. But I wonder if he will eliminate that tendency to give the quick decision when he has time to make the right call (video ref at MM 07, advantage twice for tries he disallowed to give penalties to the scoring side twice in England vs Wales).
It goes without saying that if you don't like the standard of refs, be nicer to them and about them because there is no doubt the vitriol will be putting a proportion of prospective refs off ever picking up a whistle.

Small mistake....mmmm
Whilst I agree that errors are and will be a part of the refs make up, the one I mentioned cost London Broncos a point. Points win or loose coaches jobs. The also affect team moral and subsequent performances.....but refs just carry on.
Ganson is probaly a really nice guy, but I will always remember him as an incompetent to55er.
The thread asked why we hate ganson I said I don't hate him, I just don't rate him.

It was Robinson. We should all be grateful to Mr Ganson for this. There are few players more deserving (Wellens being the only one who springs to mind).

I used to hate him, being a Wigan fan and him being a Saints fan but any bloke who can award a penalty try against the Aussies in the World Cup final can't be all bad!!
