But in all seriousness, why the hell is he still here and involved in the team.
As for the article, Noble is to the point and honest, I dont see what else he can say, he knows he has to turn things around and quickly. Its over to him.
No offence to Noble but if there was ever a time we need someone like Edwards leading us it's now. Would he stand for it? I could just imagine the snarl on his face after one of his players came out with crap like this to the press! Even if not Edwards then it highlights the need for a Wigan legend in the coaching set up as they know it more than just any other club.
I despair at what's happening to this great clubs sometimes. How hard can it be to get it right?

The next thing is we will beat London and various players will tell the WEP that if we put it together we will "batter" teams from now on, before promptly conceding 50 against Leeds and being told not to panic and over react again.

That’s the most frustrating part as we have gone to Leeds and Won but we can never continue the run for some reason. The lack of consistency is a massive problem at Wigan IMO.
The majority of this team Richards, Feka, Goulding, Prescott, O’Carroll, Fielden, Mcilorum, Tommy, Hock, Lockers, Hansen & Bailey have all played together for a good few season now. The guys we’ve brought in also Roberts and Piggy especially should be old and experienced enough to be able to adjust to being at new clubs shouldn’t they? Smith is best mates with Piggy and has played with him before plus he was here last season 2. Roberts and Piggy have both had more than two clubs each and must know what it takes when you join a new team surly?

They're certainly running out of excuses on the 'chopping and changing' and 'new team' front. Personally I think today's comments give more of an insight into why this bunch constantly underachieve.
A load of new players thrown together overnight are not going to gel straight away. But, as you say, that situation will adjust over time. A bad attitude may need to be forcibly adjusted.

As i said on the Colborn thread:
"What price a good work ethic and real desire to play for the team"
Conroy - Being a Latics fan i'm already immune to watching sh*te.
Sally Cinnamon - Treat the Saints forum as you would if you met a girl from St Helens. Best policy would be to avoid altogether but if you absolutely can't resist temptation then take every possible precaution.
