Mathers gets slated because of how he played at the beginning of last season. But he did play much better towards the end of last season and so far this year played in the or should i say was in the team for the first game. The only person who can match him at fullback in the team is pat and he is much better on the wing for us and before anyone says anything he is a very good fullback but he is a world class winger.

I'd settle for a win no matter how scrappy, after the poor start a win is a win is a win

I disagree. A win after a poor performance would not be good enough. I don't care too much about the win. We can't go down and aren't good enough to win anything by the look of things so what does it matter?

Stuff the win. Give me back my belief and I'll be happy.
