Darren Albert had a contract at Saints, but he left early. If Lyon really wanted to leave, Manly would probably allow it although they may ask for small compensation. He will have given them 3 years good service at the end of this season. He's won a Grand Final and he has a chance of winning a WCC. What else can he achieve at Manly?

Very little evidence of this being as true in modern RL.

Asides from retirement and very occasional sales, most contracts are honoured.

yeah but i meant more in general, altho no one should hold there hopes up until it happens and thats if it does, would be nice of course i listened to wilkins interview on bbc sports and was quite interestin in what he was sayin about everything that was going on with fozzy to the first 2 opening games

He said i've got 2 years left on my contract at Manly but if things were to change then i'm also happy with that.

My only concern is the salary cap are we waiting for puleatua to do a George Carmont and receive a samoan passport very soon???
