And yeah I watch many academy games and spotted a couple of player who are good and some have appeared in Wakey first team and other teams.

I can only assume you're either missing the point on purpose or are criminally dense.

Eitrher way this discussion is long since beaten to death.

They've been doing Arts & Crafts and he's been on the Pritt Stick is my guess.

No, Hudds are just as bad as Wakey if signing FW is a bad thing. But be biased all you like. That's all you can do.

Compare the stats of the two players and you'll clearly be able to see a very big difference.

You can't get round that so you try and ignore it. But that doesn't make it go away son because that just proves the point, which again you're either too dumb to see or are pretending to ignore. To clarify one last time so that even you might understand:

(i) Signing overseas players isn't the best thing a club can do.
(ii) If a club is going to sign an overseas player who will potentially keep a British player out of the team, better to sign one of a good age with good experience and an NRL winners medal than one who hasn't played hardly any first grade and is essentially unproven.

This is basic, simple common sense. All the preaching on bias is utter hypocrisy. Are we catching on yet? Nearly there?

Hopefully it is. And if it isn't, well, tough. Simply repeating something ad nauseum and ignoring the facts doesn't make it so, it just makes you simple!

But very soon FW will be a quality player, so signing him now will be more of an advantage to Wakey!

And if you see a player will lot's of potential you would sign him if he was British, so why not once in a while get an overseas player? We do our part in bringing young British players who would not get a chance any where else and most of them have been a big success

There you go predicting the future again! You don't know that. Conjecture. Opinion, nothing more. And the opinon of someone who has shown himself not to be really worth listening to.

Wintersteins stats are very different to Fultons, aren't they. Go on, compare those stats. Those stats aren't about what apparently WILL happen very soon. Those are dead set stats. How many times has Winterstein played in a team that has won the NRL GF? How many first grade games? Go on youtube and see some video clips of Fulton, there are some belters. Strangely enough I've struggled to find anything on Winterstein.

You just don't get it, do you...

Just admit it it. You're wrong.

Not wrong no, you just don't want to admit Wakey have done nothing wrong in signing FW.

He is a player with talent and lot's of it. Fulton yeah he is good player but that is not the point. The point is he is another overseas signing, why not get a British player?

Since Kear has taken over he has signed many players who most would write off, same happening here with Frank. I am sure Kear is the best judge of player then eithier of us 2

Jesus H Corbett. Did you not see this bit:

Danril wrote:(i) Signing overseas players isn't the best thing a club can do.

It's about 3 posts ago FFS! In other words it would be preferable if neither club had to resort to signing an overseas player.

The point is:

Danril wrote:(ii) If a club is going to sign an overseas player who will potentially keep a British player out of the team, better to sign one of a good age with good experience and an NRL winners medal than one who hasn't played hardly any first grade and is essentially unproven.

Wake up. There must something wrong with you mentally if you cannot see it is preferable to sign a young player with heaps of first grade experience and an NRL winners medal in comparison to an unproven rookie.

Having had him as a 'coach' I doubt it.
