Very surreal to drive down Atherleigh Way and see the back fence of B&Q right the way across
Just wish they'd get rid of either end now and have done with it.

Anyone remember Eddie Kidd ripping up the whole pitch one cold Thursday night early 1980's on his two wheeler.
The old supporters bar (mick maytin) the bar ran the whole level hand side as you walked in from the gable end of the stand.

What great memories we all have, some going further back than others,I recall being lifted over the turnstile & then lifted over the wall around the pitch & sitting on the afore mentioned benches whilst my father & grandfather were in the paddock just behind & to my left.
I to had a miners helmet painted red & white &also at some time early 70`s a very loud wooden rattle.
I remember Joe Walsh coming off once with blood pumping out of a head wound, the smell of winter green comes to mind, running on the pitch to pat my heroes on the back or get an autograph.Lets hope we get as much plaesure out of the new place.

You know, that crossed my mind and I think you're right. But he's a dead ringer. And perhaps Ford was never that fast!
