£3.20 for a pint is not reasonable,it may be the norm but it most certainly is not reasonable.

I stayed there last Friday on a visit back to Leigh...very comfy bed

I had a club sandwich and 'real' chips from room service...very tasty but obviously expensive...travelling alone I didn't fancy sitting in the restaurant, plus it was empty. I didn't have brekkie in the hotel (£39 without £49 with)...I met my son and had a Wetherspoons brekkie instead before I left on Sat morning.

All very modern and fresh, service fine...and i believe great value for the room price...only thing I would advise, ask for a room on the ground side(front) because there is traffic noise on the bypass side

Will be giving it a go at a matchday soon, heard good things about the place and £3.20 in a 4 star hotel is only to be expected, as anyone who has drank in the De Vere Whites Hotel will appreciate.

Just because you 'expect' to pay £3.20 for a pint in a 4 star hotel doesn't mean it's ok. It's still daylight robbery. Just as it's a rip off to pay over inflated prices for their food when I can go to toby carvery and have as much as i want for a fiver!

It's only "not ok" if it bothers you. Personally, I can accept that hotels charge so much for booze; if it revolved around the price of the drink then I'd just go to Netto.
