Not questioning anyones anything. Some people have creative and developmental comments regarding team line ups etc, others like to argue and pick at comments on here.
Lets look at the players I initially mentioned getting rid of
-Coley
-Riddell
-Fielden
-Mathers
-Phelps
-Bailey
Now lets look at the ages of the players I mentioned coming in:
Aston- early 20s
SBW-Early 20s
Bosc-25 now
Marshall- 23
The prop is a different situation. It's all about the type of prop we need. I could have well have mentioned several other younger props, I was stating the type of prop.
Lets face it, you're only gonna try and pick wholes in it. At least it'll give you something to do with your day other than paint you're 'we hate nobby' banners.

If you don't like my post then shut up and don't bother responding to it.
Hey, you're the one who's turning this into an argument. All Jonh did was point out that your suggestion was impractical, and then he gave reasons why.
Even ignoring the contract factor, do you seriously think we could accommodate SBW, Chris Ashton and Tommy Bosc under the cap, and still maintain a healthy sized squad. The first two are on massive money in RU, and Bosc probably soon will be when he goes to RU.
Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see all of them in cherry and white, but I think you've got to be more realistic.
I;m making it an argument? Sorry didn't know he was your boyfriend, I thought that was another poster.
Picking and calling people names is the basis of an argument. I'm not going to let my opinions be called when they are valid.
Lets face it.. I could pick holes myself and argue my reasons for the team mentions till I'm blue in the face, why I've mentioned SBW, Ashton and Gasiner.
Why I withdrew the likes of Coley etc.
But this will only allow people like you to argue.

So what the point.
You know, silly insults will only get you whizzed - as other posters who can't stand their views being disagreed with have found out in recent times.
But hey, you're right - it's not worth arguing about. You stick to your guns, and I'll stay out of it.
Everyone is entitled to there opinion, and yes I'm old enough to recognise the issues with the team I mentioned.
I just feel at times it is difficult to mention a team/point without criticism.
Often i feel people should read-between the lines with issues and not be so quick to point out obvious points when there is a bigger picture.
SBW is unhappy with life in RU, and won't be making a return to the NRL, so SL is an option. Same with Gasnier.
Ashton is also unhappy with life in RU, he's a young Wigan lad so a deal isn't that unquestionable.
I would sooner spend money on an experienced 6 to partner Sam. As well as an experienced, and yes maybe Aussie enforcer prop, hence why I mentioned the names I did. Fielden is on a truck load of money so getting a Sh!thouse aussie class prop and a good UK prop isn't out of the question.
Look at the wire pack.. Morley, Ru'htu, Carvell, Andersons, Higham, Wood, Clarke etc, so it can be done.
I mentioned Brad Drew. He is getting on, but an experienced 9 to work with Tommy for me is something I'd like to see. no.9 is a massive influential role and I want someone who has experience with a turn of pace and knows the game, for example (Brad Drew)
I doubt we will be able to get a world class, centre and prop in the off season as they are three positions in high demand and true world class players cost top dollar so this is what I’d do;
I'd like to see Tomkins given a go at 6 as not only will it solve a problem area but it will solve it cheaply which can only be a bonus. I'd also like Smith to stay and play 7 regularly. He needs to improve his defence but he's still got the potential to be a great player. I just don't see him improving under Noble tho as not many of our players do which is a sad fact. Either way Tomkins needs to game time THIS season so we can judge how he is at this level and we can adjust our recruitment accordingly.
We've got a tough decision to make when it comes to getting a prop. Lynch, imo, is a top player and would add a hell of a lot to our pack but is he the leader we are so desperate for? Is it a better option to get Petro in due to the experience he'll add to the side even he probably won't play as well as Lynch will?
Hopefully both Gasnier and SBW will have another stinker in RU and we can get one of them. SBW would be my first option just because of his age and undoubted ability but I wouldn’t turn my nose up at Gasnier either. We may also have to look at Hape if things don't work out with these two. He'd be a big risk but one we may have to take.
Other than that i think this team is far better than the level it's performing at now. Hopefully we may have a new guy at the helm who can take us to that next level.

Just a question how old are you?
If anyone disagrees with you or points out the floors you feel its time to get personal.
We have Riddell for 3 years, Drew will be retired by that time.
Just one of the flaws, i could put a team up filled with World Class players past present and future, its about as relevant as posting what you have.
The fact is in key posititons we have players contracted for 3 and 4 years, so regardless of plucking names from the blue beyond unless the cap is going to be abolished in the next 2 years in real terms it counts for nothing.
Unofficially the most boring poster on Cherry and White.
